So as me and James established in our video on Crazy Frog Racer 2, it has a DDR-style minigame called “Dance Frog”.
It’s just as bad as the core game itself.
It’s obviously harmless enough from a gameplay perspective, but I dare you to look at Crazy Frog’s dance moves and try not to cringe at them.
And considering that this game was printed onto a CD-ROM/PS2 blue disc (in 2006 might I add), they only use a measly five songs from Crazy Frog’s entire discography up to that point. Although, perhaps it’s for the best that they only used that many.
Normally, in any other DDR or Stepmania clone, getting a “Good” rating on any of the notes would break your note streak, but since the only indication that your “note streak” is broken in this minigame is an animation of Crazy Frog disintegrating, I’m counting the runs where that animation isn’t seen as Full Combos.
Played on real PS2 hardware because PCSX2 doesn’t properly emulate the backgrounds, autosave text and screen transitions.
1:36 – Hey Baby
4:49 – I’m too sexy
8:17 – Final Countdown
11:20 – Axel F
14:23 – Popcorn
