What would a good alternative for the beeswax be?
I have a quick question on some of the lipsticks when pigment/mica is added and I put in the mold and when they come out some have weird wiggly lines almost like layers and some are not smooth and some have cracks, any suggestion on what I’m doing wrong.?
Wowww amazing, where you bought the scale?
What are the regulations in Alberta for selling DYI cosmetics? Will appreciate any advice. Thank you.
How would you make a flavored, scented lipstick in plum or red raspberry?
is there a substitute for beeswax and soy some people are allergic to soy lecithin
And I want to use the PAINT recipes that you recommended in your book. Instead of using the dyes from TKB… what are your thoughts on that?
Love this. Can't wait to try it.
That lipstick base looks edible. YUMM!!
I’m uk based but can’t seem to locate the dyes you are using and the mica alone does not have enough colour payoff. Also food colouring doesn’t work either. Can you tell me a brand for the dyes so I can source it in the uk. Many thanks
I love this tutorial but I’m having a hard time with my base! I used Rice bran wax instead of beeswax and used candelilla and carnueba wax with a combination of coco caprate, hydrogenated polyisobutene, octyldodecanol, jojoba oil, Shea butter and a few other oils. The base has now hardened but when I use my finger to test the consistency it feels a bit crumbly (more like flaky) almost as if I’ve added mica powders and didn’t stir (just an example, I didn’t add any micas yet), what could be the reason?? I’ve looked ALL over to find an answer and I cannot find one! Please help lol!!!
와우 발색대박!!
And…. No Titanium dioxyde or other nasties!!
Hello mam what can i use instead of cetearyl alcohol. It's difficult to find it here in India 💞
can I use this to make a fenty dupe lip scrub in a lipstick form?
Can I skip Candelilla wax in lipstick and use carnauba wax? Because candelilla wax is not available in my country?
hi marie i am enjoying my lisptick.but i am unable to find pure vitamin e oil in my country.here we have white oil tocopherol acetate called vitamin e. can we use this instead of golden colored pure vitamin e. some says white one is not antioxidant.
I've tried using the micanpowders and im having trouble. Can you do a video explaining how to use the powders instead of th colored drops?❤
Is this lipstick is HALAL (organic)
Cetearyl alcohol is peraben product or no
soy lecithin i rather not use can i use something else instead?
Hi Marie! Super excited to try this recipe. What did you use to grease the lipstick mold? Thank you!
Thanks alot 🌸and would you like to write all gredients in English because I don’t understand language speech please
can we add vitamin e oil while mixing the pigments and base. or it is necessary mix vitamin e while making lipstick base as written in your book.
Is the soy necessary? I’m allergic. Any viable substitutions?
